Attorney Mary Patton Selected as Chair-Elect of Elder Law Section

Bluegrass Elderlaw, PLLC is proud to announce that Attorney Mary Ellis Patton has been selected by the Kentucky Bar Association's Elder Law Section as the Section's Chair-Elect.

The election took place at the Elder Law Section's annual meeting on June 16, 2017 at the Kentucky Bar Association in Frankfort, KY. Mary will serve a year as Chair-Elect and then become Chair of the Section starting July 1, 2018. 

The Elder Law Section has 189 attorney members and provides education to other attorneys and the general public on elder law issues.  The Section further aids in the development of laws benefiting elder citizens and those concerned with the care and needs of the elderly. 

Mary was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky.  She earned her B.A. in Communication magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky in 2004.  In 2007, she graduated with her J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law.  She has been practicing with Bluegrass Elderlaw, PLLC since 2014. She resides in Lexington with her husband and two children.
