Katie E. Finnell
Attorney, Member
Katie E. Finnell has been a member of Bluegrass Elderlaw, PLLC since 2020, after joining in January 2017 as an Associate. Prior to joining, she spent several years as a sole practitioner. Katie graduated from the University of Kentucky and earned her law degree from Northern Kentucky University, Chase College of Law. She earned her LLM (legal masters degree) in Estate Planning and Elder Law from Western New England University in 2016. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Fayette County Bar Association. Katie is the past CLE Committee Chair as well as the President of the KY Bar Association Elder Law Section.
Katie serves as Board Chair of The Kentucky Conference for Community and Justice, a nonprofit organization operating a AmeriCorps VISTA Network. Katie services as Chair of a judicially appointed Citizens Foster Care Review Board as well as a member of the CFCRB Legislative Committee. Additionally, Katie is a board member of Life Plan of Kentucky as well as Ashland Terrace.
